Happy Halloween!!

WE HOPE YOU ALL HAD A WONDERFUL HALLOWEEN, OURS WAS REALLY FUN AND THE KIDS GOT WAY TO MUCH CANDY!!
Logan was a cute mummy, we had planned for him to be a bumble bee, we had a costume from when Dakoda was a baby, but the the day before halloween Josh went to go get it out so I could wash it but he couldn't find it so I had to hurry and sew this together. It was alot more work then I thought but it turned out way cute.
Our cute kids....M'Tali and Dallin were skateboarders, Dakoda was a cowboy, and Logan our little mummy.

"Howdy partner"

Every Year for Halloween we make a stop at Josh's grandpas house for doughnuts and snacks, its such a fun tradition and the kids look forward to it. After we left there we headed down to my dad's for chili and pie, my dad made the most wonderful chili. Thanks dad for dinner!!! This time of year is my favorite time, I really love the holidays and the memories that we get to create for our kids!!

HAPPY 6TH BIRTHDAY DAKODA!!

Today was Dakoda's 6Th birthday. Dakoda is such a fun loving boy, he is easy going, quite, easy to get along with, and such a good little boy.
When koda got up this morning I wished him a Happy Birthday and gave him his kisses, then he told me that he's 6 now, but he's still going to be a talker till the day he dies, He is the biggest talker that I have ever seen in my life, that kid will go on and on and on, he asks questions after questions, and if you don't answer he asks till you answer him. Some of the questions he asks just amazes me he has a wonderful memory and imagination. He sometimes gives me a headache with his non stop talking. He loves to organize everything, he is always organizing his room, books, toys, shoes, my kitchen, the bathrooms, my cupboards, he will even sit in the cart when we go shopping and organize the groceries, and then organize them once we put them up on the belt, everything has to be organized for Dakoda.
Both me and Josh had the day off work and the kids were out of school, so for his birthday we went up to my mom's grave to put some decorations on there for Halloween/Fall, then we went to lunch to Brick Oven. My dad had the day off work so he came with us., Thanks dad for making Dakodas day so special.
I am so proud of Dakoda for all that he does, he is such a great help, and an amazing son I don't know what I would without him. We love you so much "Koda Bear" We hope you had a wonderful birthday.

Lightening Storm!!

video

We love the rain, lightening, and thunder.. I could just sit and watch the rain fall and listen the thunder, but today as Josh was home with the kids it came a little to close, he heard the thunder and said that he thought it hit in our back yard and when he went to look this is what he saw. This is at the condos just behind our house. Luckily it was only a tree that got burned after it was hit by lightening.

Fishing Trip!!

Saturday we took the kids and went fishing with my family, we went up to strawberry reservoir. We headed out at 5:30 in the morning. Strawberry was always mom's favorite place to go fishing so on the drive up there she was on everyone's mind and when we all got there there was a few tears. The day was really enjoyable, we love to spend time with the family whenever we can even though there was one special person that wasn't there with us, and then there were even more tears on the way home just knowing she wasn't able to celebrate our few catches with us.

Dakoda loved to play with the crawdads and even brought one home with him that he said is going to be his pet!!(We'll see how long it lives) M'Tali didn't want to hold the fish so this is the best picture we got of her!!

Dakoda's fish kept hitting him in the tummy so he had to hold it far away from him

Dallin is an expert fishermen and know how to hold his fish...lol that's what he said

The first catch of the day!!! Josh casted his pole out and within just a few minutes he had this fish!! We thought that this was going to be a good sign of the fishing!!
All 8 of the fish that were caught were all caught on Josh's fishing pole, we were all getting mad that he was the only one that was catching fish, but then I thought that the reason why this was happening was because grandma always loved to watch her grandchildren fish and to catch fish. They always took M'Tali fishing with them and it was so important to her to make sure that M'Tali got a fish even though this didn't always happen and so she knew that Josh being the person he is would allow the kids to reel his fish in, and this was the only way that the kids would get a fish....so every fish that was caught was reeled in by the kids, it didn't matter to them that they were caught on Josh's pole, to them it was THEIR fish. All the kids got to reel in a fish except for my niece Kaydee and Josh tried so hard to get her one, he even left his pole out there in the dark while we cleaned up hoping to get one for her but was unable to. I know that she enjoyed every minute of that.

Time Sure Does Fly By!!

It's so hard to believe that Logan is now 3 months old, It has been a very long and hard 3 months, and he has changed so much.

Logan Loves to talk and coo and I love to just sit and listen to him try and make noises.
He is such a happy baby with all that he has been through

He loves to eat his hands and is always trying to get both of them in his mouth, his fingers are so long and skinny that he is always choking himself on them.

Logan has been though alot the past 3 months and they still haven't found out anything, he has been tested for Pyloric Stenosis, Cystic Fibrosis, and all the childhood diseases that they can think of that would prevent him from growing, but so far everything has come back negative, other then the severe acid reflux which I am so thankful for but it's so hard not having answers. He is seen by his own home health nurse 2-3 times a week and sees his pediatrician every week. We were hoping that by the time he was 3 months that he would be up to his birth weight but that didn't happen so I guess our goal is that he will be there by 4 months.
We are so thankful for all the prayers that have been offered on Logan's behave and we hope that he will continue to grow, and get stronger everyday. He is such a happy baby. We love him so much and are so thankful for the few weeks he had to spend with grandma here on earth.
Logan's Stats are:
8lbs 7oz (0.09%tile)
23 inches long (13.78%tile)
14.5 inch head circumference(10.2%tile)

Weekend At The Cabin!!

This last weekend we took a break from everything and headed up to the cabin, it was so fun and relaxing. M'Tali stayed home and spent some time with Grandpa which she does quit often and really enjoys

My 3 cute boys enjoying the great outdoors.

Dallin and Dakoda playing outside!!
Dallin loves to ride the four wheeler and was always begging us to go on ANOTHER ride:)

Daddy and Dakoda coming back from a ride...Dakoda jumped off the four wheeler and said "We saw 10 deer" They love to go look for deer.

1st Day of School

The kids went back to school today and it was so nice that Logan was able to take a nap and not have them bug him, but it was also sad that summer is over and we have to get back to a routine again, and that I have to go back to work soon. We are planning one last camping trip this weekend to finish up the summer at Yuba, I'm kinda excited to take one last camping trip as a family but Yuba is where we were when my mom past away, it's our favorite spot to camp, but it will be hard to go back.

They are so happy to go to school, they even got up early!! They kept asking "Is it time to go yet, now is it time to go??" Can we go now??

M'Tali is in the 5th grade, I can't believe how fast she is turning into such a young lady, she is such a big help to me and loves to be a mini mom.
Her favorite part of today was of course recess...but then she said that's ALL we did!!
Dallin is in the 3rd grade and is so excited to see all of his friends, he gets along so well with everyone...
His favorite part was taking a test....I promise that's what he said!!! LOL
Dakoda is in kindergarten and will be attending all day, It's hard to believe that he will be at school all day long.... I don't know what I will do without him here, he's been home with me in the afternoons for almost 6 years.
His favorite part of today was eating lunch at school, and the magic trick that his teacher did.

RECAP OF A VERY BUSY WEEK!!!

SUNDAY: We had Logans blessing, it was a really good turn out and it was so nice to see some of my family and friends that I haven't seen in awhile. His full name is Logan Ray Young, we chose the name Logan because we wanted his name to have meaning, Dallin was named after my grandpa Dallin Ray Bell, Who was the best Grandpa to me, so I wanted his name to have some kind of connection to him. Grandpa grew up in Logan Utah so I figured that the name Logan would be a wonderful way of continuing his legacy and of course his middle name was Ray.
Dad, I just want to thank you for the wonderful blessing that you gave Logan, and for the spirit that you provided all of us, I know how hard it was for you, being the first baby blessing that you've had to do since mom past away, there aren't any words I can say to show how much I appreciate you being able and willing to provide him with such a spiritual blessing. I love you so much.

MONDAY: We took the kids to Deer Creek to play in the water, some of Josh's Family came up with us, it was alot of fun and the kids really enjoyed it.

M'Tali relaxing on the blow up Island

Dakoda and Boomer swimming in the water....He loves dogs and would not leave this dog alone

M'Tali, Jorden and Kade get along so well they are inseparable, they love to spend time with each other.

"See mom we really can get along" These two boys love to fight with each other, but can also get along so well when they try!!

WEDNESDAY: For Dallin's pack meeting they had these box car races...it's basically a box made into a car and they race around the room...it was really cute and fun he really enjoyed it.

And also on Wednesday we got a new baby Niece. Avery was 6 LBS 11 OZ and 18 inches long...she is the cutest little girl ever...they almost looks the same size. Logan better start growing or his little girl cousin will "beat him down" in the words of Dakoda. Congrats A.J. and Missy she is so beautiful.

THURSDAY: Logan was admitted back in the hospital, this time we were sent up to Primary Children's Medical Center, he still wasn't gaining weight at 2 months of age he was only weighing 7LBS 14 OZ, (he weighed 9 lbs at birth), and was throwing up everything he was eating, so they sent him up there to be seen by a Gastroenterologist pediatric specialist. They ran a bunch of tests, including an upper GI, some blood work, and an EKG. They found out that the opening at the bottom of his esophagus and the opening at the bottom of his stomach don't open and close when they are supposed to which was causing all his formula to come back up, plus he has severe acid reflux which we were already aware of..The EKG found that the right ventricle of his heart will slow down and drop his heart rate really low...it's called RVH, He doesn't need surgery and it should heal on his own, we just have to make sure he doesn't get to cold or do to much physically which can cause his heart rate to drop. His Liver enzymes came back elevated, they will do an ultrasound on his liver later after his weight comes backup a little. As for the throwing up we have to thicken his formula with rice cereal so that it doesn't come back up. I am so thankful that they finally found out what was wrong and for all the prayers that were offered for Baby Logan. Thank You Dad for the wonderful blessing that you gave Logan before we went up to the hospital. We really hate hospitals!!

SATURDAY: We finally get to go home!! Yay

The day we went out there was my 30th birthday so Josh bought this cake and we celebrated it out at Yuba.
The weekend was very enjoyable until we received the phone call from my dad sunday morning about my mom passing away!!

Mom's Funeral

This is a poem that was at the end of one of the comments from mom's obituary it has brought alot of tears to me, but it has also brought alot of understanding also.
I love my mom more then words can say and miss her with all my heart, I love my sweet husband for being there for me through this VERY difficult time and thank him for all his support and for allowing me to just cry on his shoulder when I needed to, and my dad, I can't even being to image how you feel or what you are going through, just know that we all love you with all of our hearts and are here for you whenever you need us, and I'm very thankful for the closeness that I feel with my brothers and sister at this time, and I hope it continues forever I love them all so much. And for my 4 beautiful children I know M'Tali had a special relationship with her grandma and it can never be replaced, I know she will miss her dearly, and the boys loved her so much and always loved all the time they got to spend with her just weeks before passing, and I hope that through the stories we share and the memories we have that Logan will know his grandma and what a wonderful grandma she was and how much she loved him.
To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say... but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay. I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above. Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love. Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight. Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night. That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through, God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you." It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone. As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on. I need you here badly; you're part of my plan. There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man. God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do. And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you. And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight. God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night. When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears. But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain. Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain. I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned. But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand. But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er. I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before. There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb; but together we can do it by taking one day at a time. It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too... that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you. If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain, then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain." And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile, knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile. So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low, just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go. When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind; I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind. And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free, remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Poor Baby Logan!!

We were released from the hospital on Friday and were told that Logan's bilirubin count was a little high, but nothing to worry about, they told us to take him home and have him sit in front of a window in just his diaper, and make sure he got plenty of fluids and bring him back on Saturday and have his levels checked again. After taking him back to have him retested we dropped the kids off to my parents to go enjoy an hour by ourselves so we could celebrate our anniversary which was on Saturday, as we sat down to eat we get the phone call from the doctor saying that his bilirubin levels were extremely high and that he needed to go back to the hospital and be admitted for his jaundice, after receiving the news I was really upset and started crying in the restaurant so we took our food and left to go pick him up. My wonderful dad gave him a special blessing and we headed back down to the hospital. He was admitted into the pediatric unit where he was placed under special lights to help get rid of the jaundice. In the morning the pediatrician came in and said his levels had gone up again and that they thought that he might have an infection in his bladder that was causing his levels to keep going up. The only way to test for a bladder infection in such a little baby is to go through the stomach and into the bladder with a needle and draw out the urine and have it tested, the test came back negative, so they drew blood to see if they could find out where the infection was. Later that night while I was burping him he started throwing up and it had some dark brown stuff in it, they didn't know what it was so they took it down to the lab to be tested, it came back being blood, so the doctor though that he might have some internal bleeding that was causing him to throw up blood. We took him down to x-ray and had his stomach x-rayed to see if there was any bleeding in his stomach. While we were waiting for the test results to come back from that we got the results of the blood work back, there was a sign of an infection, but they weren't sure where it was at so the doctor decided to go ahead and hook him up to IVs with fluids and start administering antibiotics. My poor little guy being only 4 days old was already poked and prodded more times then I could handle and now they were going to poke him again and hook him up to IVs. The 2 nurses that were working that night both tried to find a vein and with no luck they called down a specialist from the nursery to find a vein to hook the Iv up to. After 30 LONG minutes of standing in the hall crying listening to him scream while they looked for a vein he was finally hooked up to his IV. Early the next morning the test results came back from the x-ray and thankfully there was no internal bleeding, they figured he must have swallowed some blood coming down the birth canal. The pediatrician came in the next morning and said his levels were going down, but that he needed to stay in the hospital for a few more days to get his levels down. Finally on Tuesday morning we were released to finally take baby Logan home and enjoy him. We are so thankful for all those that prayed for him, and that he is finally home where we can hold and love him without monitors and IVs.

Logan Ray Young is finally here....He was 9 lbs and was 20 inches long. The kids love their new baby brother.

Quick Update!!!

Sorry I haven't posted in a long time, we have been so busy around here, Last week we enjoyed 4 days in beautiful Moab, I forgot my camera and had to get a disposable so I'll post pictures as soon as I get them developed.
The kids are getting so excited for summer to get here and I am to!!! M'Tali starts softball this next week so watch for that...all Dakoda can talk about is going to kindergarten,, schools not over and he's ready to start next school year....Dallin is so excited not to have a bed time and no hving to get up early.
We moved the boys into the same room, and put the babys room where Dakoda's room was, they love it cuz they stay up all night talking. I think we tell them 200 times a night to quite talking and get to bed.
I went to my doctors appointment on Monday just expecting it to be a regular check up, we got in there and my doctor told me my blood pressure was extremely high and he wanted me to go to the hospital and do some test, we took the kids and headed down to do the test and thought we'd be home in a few hours, I get in there and they hook me up to all the monitors, and preceded to do all the tests that they need to do, after sitting in the hospital room for 2 hours the nurse comes back in and tells me that my doctor wants me to stay the night for observation, I was dilated to a 1 and 60% effaced, and was having regular contractions that were 2-3 minutes apart, the next morning they discharge me to go home and do the next few weeks on bed rest, I have 7 week left but they are going to try and get me to hold off for 3 more....lets hope it works....I'd love to get to at least 37 or 38 weeks but they said I'd be lucky to make it to 36...I'll keep you posted as we find out more each week.

Pay it forward activity!!

A fun pay it forward activity. Thanks Danielle!Free gift for whoever wants it!!Here's how it works-the first 5 people to leave a comment on this post will receive, at some point during the year, a handmade or homemade gift from me. What it will be and when it will arrive is a total surprise! The catch is that you must participate as well-before you leave your comment here, write up a pay it forward post on your blog to keep the fun going. Then come back, let me know you're going to play, and sit back and anticipate the arrival of your gift! Remember that only the first 5 comments will receive a gift from me, so be quick! This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
1. I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!
2. It'll be done this year (hopefully sooner than later.)
3. You will have no clue what it is going to be.
4. What I make, may be strange. Who Knows!!

Three's a charm....or so I thought!!!

So in my last post I said that we were having a boy, but if you look closely at the last picture, the "BOY THINGY" is actually not a boy thing at all, it's the baby's hand in a fist, and my doctor said he could be wrong, so I decided that I needed a second opinion before I started shoppong since I basically have to start over because we thought we were done having kids and gave everything away, so it's like having my first all over again. So I made an appointment with the Gender Ultrasound place in the provo mall in hopes that they could tell me for sure it's a boy, we get there and of course the baby decided that it was going to cross it's legs the WHOLE time, they tried for 45 minutes to get the baby to uncross it's legs but it wasn't going to, we tried everything I even went walking and drank some soda pop but nothing, so they said they would do another one free of charge, so we made the appointment for 4 days later. We go in thinking this is going to be lucky number 3 and that we are going to leave knowing for sure what we are having......well NO the baby again decided that it was going to keep it's legs crossed, the tech lady finally gets it to uncross it's legs but then she realizes the umbilical cord is between it's legs, so she works with the baby pushing on my stomach that by now I'm really sore and it' starting to hurt, but she finally gets the cord to move a little and the baby instantly puts it's hand down there and covers up anything that would hint the sex of the baby....so I guess the baby want to come into the world a mystery....we are just going to plan on it being a boy and hope it's right, if not I'm going to have alot of stuff to return.

UltraSound Results!!!

So I went to my doctors appointment today and let me tell you it was the longest day of my life, my appointment was at 4:00 pm and so we had to wait ALL day long till we found out, and I was so nervous when we got there I had butterflies in my stomach the whole ride. This is a picture of the babies profile it's so cute my doctor tapes it for me on a video tape, and the baby kept putting his hands up by his face it was so cool to watch!!!......So what are we having??? Most of you already know cuz I sent out a mass text but its a...... BOY....I was really hoping for a girl, but I'll take a healthy boy any day, now me and Josh just need to find a name and agree on it, so if anyone has any good ideas let us know, we would like for it to start with a D.
Oh and the good news is my due date was moved up 2 whole days yay!!!

Monday, January 19, 2009

So I put the poll on my blog to see what people thought we were going to have but for some reason it doesn't tell who voted or for what they voted for, so if you could please let me know if you voted and for what you voted for I would really appreciate it....I just want to know who voted for what...THANK YOU!!!

SNOW FUN!!!

The kids love to go sledding at the cabin, we take them to a hill and they go up and down all day long...we have to beg them to go back in when we are freezing. Josh, M'Tali, and Mckenzie(Josh's Cousin)...this is how we get them to the top of the hill.

Dallin and Riley(Josh's Cousin)....Dallin loves to go down the hill with Riley, I think they went down almost evertime together...Dallin wouldn't go with anyone else.

Dakoda is our little snowboarder...he would go down on his sled standing up on it....I guess we'll have to get him a snowboard and some lessons now!!!

Our little dare devil...he fall a few times but that didn't stop him, he just got up and did it again!!

NeW YeArS EvE At ThE CaBiN!!

We love to go to the cabin every New Years Eve, the kids have so much fun and I couldn't imagine spending New Years any other way!! It is such a fun tradition!!
...NO the kids are not drinking alcohol, they love to drink the sparkling Cider from the bottles as the adults drink theirs from plastic cups, the love that they get to do their cheers with the big bottles. The kids spend do much time outside sledding, that we build a fire in the pit and they can get warm without having to come in all the time to get warm, we just keep them drinking hot chocolate and they stay outside all day long. The kids had alot of fun with their cousins Carter and Kaylee.

What a cute little face...Dakoda collected all the paper stuff that came out of the poppers that they popped and put them all over him... this picture only shows about half of what he had on him

Now this is what trouble looks like...only a little cuter:) Just kidding

I think the sea monster ate M''Tali!! at least I think that is M'Tali
We had so much fun at the cabin, we look forward to it every year, we enjoy ever time we go to the cabin, but the New Years celebrations is one that we look forward to ALL year long.

Dakoda is going to be a BIG brother!!

YUP!! You read it right Dakoda is going to be a big brother. Baby #4 is due this June. We are so excited, after a miscarriage almost three years ago and two years of trying to get pregnant, we gave up and thought that we were done with the 3, but I guess not. I guess someone else had different plans for us:)

Merry Christmas!!!

We all had a wonderful christmas, the kids got a ton of stuff.
Santa brought M'Tali ski lessons for sundance.
He brought Dallin a Nintendo DS and a few games
And Koda got a new bike and helmet.
We got them clothes cuz that is what they needed, Dallin goes through pants so fast I swear I buy them everyother month

M'Tali is growing so fast that none of her pants fit her anymore, so we got her a few pairs.

Koda loves his new BIG boy bike, he learned to ride without training wheels this last summer and has been riding M'Tali and Dallins bike so he was excited when santa got him a bike....and not just any bike a Tony Hawk bike.!!!

We are so tired!!

Oh ya and did I mention that we had to go wake them up at nine in the morning, I can't believe they slept in till then...It was so nice

Making Gingerbread houses

Every year we make gingerbread houses with Josh's family it is a ton of fun and the kids absolutely love it. It has turned into such a fun tradition!!

Kodas 5th Birthday!!

Today was Kodas 5th birthday. We went to the cabin over the weekend, and then came home and had a party with some of my family..Thanks Uncle Tanner, Aunt Becky, Zack, Levi, Grandma, and Papa for coming to my party it was really fun!!! He really loves hotwheels!! I can't believe he's five...what a cutie!! While we were cutting the cake Aunt Becky told you to smell the cake to see if it smelled like an orange, while you were smelling it she pushed your face in it...you thought it was so funny!!

The Deer Hunt!!

So I really really hate putting pictures of me on here but I figured that I would post this one of the deer I shot this year. It is a 4 by 3 and is 17 1/2 inches wide. I shot it from 232 yards away with ONE shot!! At first I wasn't sure if I hit it, I saw it jump when I shot but I wasn't sure if I just scared it or if I really did hit it, so we waited for a few minutes and hiked over to where I shot it, and we didn't see and blood so I figured I had missed it, but Josh insisted that we follow where we thought he ran, and about 40 yards over the ridge Josh happened to see some blood on a leaf so we followed the trail, even though it was very little blood, we decided to sit and wait for awhile to see if it would just lay down somewhere and die, instead of tracking it all over the mountain, so we sat for about fourty minutes, decide to get up and see if we could find it, and sure enough it was only about 15 feet from where we sat and waited for 40 minutes, we just couldn't see it from where we were sitting!!! I was really excited that I shot it with one bullet!!

The mountains are absolutely beautiful this time of year if you haven't been up there I highly recommend that you take a drive up there it will be well worth your time.
Isn't this amazing??

JOSH'S DEER!!

Josh went on the muzzleloader this year like he does EVERY YEAR!! This is the biggest one that he has shot so far. It is a 4 by 3 and about 21 inches wide. He shot it from 270 yards..the farthest shot for a muzzleloader is 250 yards...good job Josh!! The kids love to hold the antlers and were so excited that he got a deer...Dallins face cracks me up I'm not sure what he's doing other then Josh told them all to stick their tongues like a dead deer and this is what he did...LOL!!
Josh and his deer!!

FIELDTRIP TO SUNDANCE!!

M'Tali's class went to sundance for their fieldtrip, it was a ton of fun to go spend the day with her and to see the beautiful mountains they have changed so much and the colors are amazing!!

M'Tali with her friends
We rode the ski lift up to the summit and this was M'Tali first reaction as we got on..she didn't really like it at first but got used to towards the end
This is a huge log that was sitting on the groud that you could stand on and rock there was about 7 kids on it.
M'Tali standing at the top of the summit..the scenery was breathtaking!!
The colors of the tree are amazing...this is one of the reasons why fall is my favorite season!!

I LOVE THIS MAN!!

SO JOSH VERY RARELY LETS ME TAKES HIS PICTURE, BUT I LOVE THIS ONE, WE WERE OUT AT THE SAND DUNES AND HE WAS WATCHING THE KIDS RIDE THE WHEELERS. JOSH IS AN AMAZING DAD, AND A WONDERFUL HUSBAND, I HAVE BEEN THINKING ALOT LATELY ABOUT LIFE, KIDS, WORK, MARRIAGE, I DON'T KNOW IF ITS BECAUSE I FEEL OVERWHELMED OR WHAT, BUT EVERY NIGHT MY PRAYERS CONSIST OF MY FAMILY. TRYING TO HELP ME FIND WAYS HELP MY KIDS GET ALONG BETTER, TO WAYS THAT I CAN MAKE MY MARRIAGE BETTER, TO JUST PRAYING THAT WE WILL ALWAYS STAY CLOSE AND THAT WE WILL ALWAYS HAVE LOVE FOR EACH OTHER I FEAR THAT AS MY KIDS GROW UP WE WILL GROW APART AND OUR FAMILY WILL HAVE NO MEANING...SO I JUST WANT MY HUSBAND TO KNOW HOW MUCH I LOVE AND APPRECIATE HIM HE IS SUCH A HARD WORKER AND ALWAYS GIVES 110%. HE IS ALWAYS THINKING OF OTHERS NEEDS BEFORE HIS. HE NEVER SAYS NO TO THOSE THAT ARE IN NEED OF HIS HELP. HE IS AN AMAZING DAD AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT I WOULD DO WITHOUT HIM....I LOVE YOU TONZ HONEY!!

Kodas First day of School!!

So I'm really sad that this is Kodas last year of preschool, I mean don't get me wrong, I'm looking forward to having him in school everyday, ALL day, but its so sad that this will be our last year at his preschool, his teacher is AMAZING, I really love her and all three of the kids have attended there we've been there for 7 years now and it's coming to an end. It all kinda sad to me.

He is so DARN cute!! What a STUD!!
This is Kodas AMAZING Teacher, she is so good with him.

Koda waiting in his class room for all his friend to show up I really thought that Koda would be fine this year, I thought I could just drop him off and leave, but thats not what he had in mind...he kept saying "ok Mom just walk with me to go get my friends off the bus" so I did, we waited and then i said I had to go, then he said "ok Mom just walk back to my class with me", so I did, said i had to go and he said "wait Mom wait for me to sit on the rug". so I said ok sit on your rug so I can go, and he said in his cute little sad voice..."Wait mom I'm not ready to sit yet cuz then you'll leave...awww...it melted my heart, so i waited for him to sit took his picture and had to go, and then he was ok for me to leave.

HE'S GOT A WEDGIE..LOL:)

video

So like i've said before Koda really loves to sing, he is usually pretty mellow and layed back, anyone that knows him will say he's really quite and easy going, he's such a good kid. This day he decided that he was going to sing about anything and everything...including HIS WEDGIE...lol, so turn off my music and listen to his wedgie song...lol it is so funny...you will be laughing...at least I was. ....this is SO NOT like Koda thats what makes it so funny!!!

First day of School

So the kids went back to school on Wednesday August 20th and part of me is so excited to have them there and part of me is really sad that they are back in school....I'm glad cuz now I don't have to worry about a babysitter for them, even though my mom, mother in law, and sister watched them all summer(Thank you guys for that I really appreciate it and don't know what I would have done without all of you, so thank you from the bottom of my heart), and now on my days off and I can get more done cuz the kids are in school, but I'm sad cuz now summer is over, and now we have to get back into a routine, of early bed times, homework, etc, etc. I love to be able to just let them relax and enjoy being a kid...I'm also sad cuz it means they are moving up one grade, they are growing so fast, M'Tali is in fourth grade, Dallin is in second, and Koda is in his last year of preschool, even though M'Tali will stay at Freedom Academy till she goes to High School, which seems like FOREVER, but me and Josh were talking the other night and she only has this year and FOUR more years!!! FOUR MORE I can't believe it she is growing up so fast.

Isn't he the cutest second grader ever!! She is the cutest(and probably the tallest) fourth grader.
Aren't they so cute in their uniforms....I love that wear uniforms, it makes shopping so much easier, there is no arguing about wether I like it or not, if they can wear it to school then they get to buy it, if not I don't. Plus I don't have to worry about wether or not they match all they can wear is blue and khaki pants and red, white, or blue polos, or any shirt in that color that has a collar on it....I LOVE IT!!
Dallin in his classroom....so Dallin wanted every picture taken of him, he want one of him putting his backpack on the hook, one of him sitting their, he even wanted me to take a picture of one of his friends, he is still young enough not to be to embarrassed and then there is........
M'Tali who didn't even want me to take one in her classroom, she just wanted to stand there in front of the door and take her picture, so no one would see her getting her picture taken, she is so excited to be in fourth grade, cuz now her class is upstairs, all the grades from 4th to 8th grade are upstairs, she loves that she doesn't have to be downstairs with the "LITTLE KIDS"

AMERICAN IDOL TRYOUTS!!

video

Koda loves music and is always singing...he will talk to you and sing what ever he is trying to tell you, so while we were out camping he was singing this little song that he made up, and I filmed him while he sang...so pause the music at the bottom and push play....who knows maybe one day he will be the next American Idol

WhAt A WaY To EnD SuMmEr!!!

M'Tali wanted me to take a picture of her in her new swimming suit so that everyone could see it, Its way cute, it also has a skirt that goes with it that matches the top.

M'Tali, Dallin, Koda love to go to yuba, I think it is there favorite spot to camp for one it only takes about an hour and ten minutes to get there, and they are pretty much allowed to play in the water all they want as long as they have their life jackets on...and they pretty much only come out to eat....We love it and this was such a fun way to end summer.

Dallin loves to fish and would sit there for hours and just throw his pole out... leave out there for about ten seconds and then bring it in..cast it back out leave it there for ten seconds bring it back in......you get the idea...he did this for about two hours.
Koda getting ready to go on the tube

This is a fish that Josh's cousins fiance caught...it is a Northern Pike and is 40 1/4 inches long...the biggest fish to be taken out of Yuba was 43 inches

OuR LaSt CaMpInG TrIp Of ThE SuMmEr :(

Me, Koda, and my niece Kaylee just "chillin". They both just came out of the water and were so cold and I was trying to get them warm Koda thinks hes hot stuff...ok so do I!!!

Wow..who let these rock stars go camping with us I don't remember bringing them with us!!
"What mom I wasn't going to throw this!" My favorite part of Yuba is being able to jump on the wave runner with the kids and going for a ride on the lake...koda loved the wave runner and was always on it...he was the first one to go on the tube...Me and josh spent all day taking the kids on tube rides it was so much fun, I'm so sad to see summer ending.

POTTER'S POND!!!

One of our favorite camping spots is potter's pond, It is up fairview canyon about a two hour drive from here. The area is amazing, we have made it into one of our yearly traditions. M'Tali posing in front of our trailer. M'Tali, Koda, and Cole loved this puppy his name is Merf and they wouldn't let him go all weekend. The kids weren't able to ride their fourwheelers all weekend cuz we fould out that they have to be eight years old to drive them and they have to be certified(they have to take a safety class) so the rangers wouldn't let them ride or we would have gotten a $100.00 ticket for each one of them, we will wait a few weeks till Dallin turns eight and go get them certified so we don't have anymore problems. So this little seven week old puppy kept them entertained all weekend.
Josh and his cousin Ryan.

M'Tali and Kade playing together, they had so much fun all weekend together. One of our friends Aaron played 500 ( a football game where you throw the ball up and yell out any number from 1-500 and whoever catches the ball gets that many points) with them all weekend, thanks Aaron for entertaining them. This is part of potters pond, I took this as we were leaving the potter's pond area. This is how pretty it is up there, we couldn't have asked for a better weekend to go it rained a little bit just enough to keep the dust down. I can't wait till we are able to go again next year, we had so much fun.

Random Posting....

So as many of you know, both me and Josh come from a very patriotic family, we both have had family members service in the military, and Josh has a cousin that just got back from Iraq and he has a cousin that is still in Afghanistan..so why this random posting??? I was driving home from work today and a song came on the radio called"Just A Dream" by Carrie Underwood, The song was about a girl that had just turned 18(young I know) and instead of going to the church to get married she going there for the funeral of what I'm assuming was her boyfriend, maybe fiance that was killed in a war...the song was so good I was crying and couldn't hardly see to drive home. When I got home I found the song and added it to my play list, So as you listen to this song, I ask that you just remember our service men and women that serve for OUR freedom, include them and their families in your prayers.

"STADIUM OF FIRE"

This year we got the chance to get M'Tali tickets to the stadium of fire to see Miley Cyrus. She was so excited, we kept it a secret until that night, we gave her the tickets right before it started, she was so excited she almost started crying(I think she did cry, but she said she didn't). We were on the 16th row on the field. M'Tali standing behind Shawn Bradley who played with the BYU basketball team.( He let us take a picture of her with him, but I took it with my camera and after we were done she wanted it with her camera to so she just stood there while I took it, it gives you the general idea of how tall he is anyways, after I get my pictures developed I'll post it)
The blue man group was awesome, they were so entertaining.
MILEY CYRUS....of course this was M'Tali's highlight of the evening, she was in heaven, and I was to, being able to see her and the excitement she had being able to see Miley in concert...It truly was a dream come true for both of us. We both had a ton of fun being able to spend some quality mother-daughter time together. I just want M'Tali to know how much I love her and how proud I am of her.
