I'LL SEE YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE.......

Well, hope is an anchor and love is a ship:
Time is the ocean an' life is a trip.
You don't know where you're goin' till you know where you're at,
And if you can't read the stars, well, you better have a map:
A compass and a conscience so you don't get lost at sea,
Or on some old lonely island where no one wants to be.

From the beginning of creation, I think our Maker had plan,
For us to leave these shores and sail beyond the sand.
An' let the Good Light guide us through the waves and the wind,
To the beaches in a world where we have never been.
And we'll climb up on the mountain, y'all: we'll let our voices ring,
When those who've never tried it, they'll be the first to sing.

Whoa, my, my:
I'll see you on the other side if I make it.
And it might be a long hard ride but I'm gonna take it.
Sometimes it seems that I don't have a prayer:
I let the weather take me anywhere,
But I know that I wanna go where the streets are gold,
'Cause you'll be there.
Oh, my, my.

Well, you don't bring nothin' with you here and you can't take nothin' back.
I ain't never seen a hearse with a luggage rack.
So I've torn my knees up prayin', scarred my back from fallin' down.
Spent so much time flyin' high, till I'm face first in the ground.
So if you're up there watchin' me, would you talk to God and say:
Tell him I might need a hand to see you both some day.

Oh, my, my:
So I'll see you on the other side if I make it.
And it might be a long hard ride but I wanna take it.
Sometimes it seems that I don't have a prayer:
I let the weather take me anywhere,
But I know that I wanna go where the streets are gold,
'Cause you'll be there. (You'll be there.)
Oh, my, my.
'Cause you'll be there. (You'll be there.)
Oh, my, my.

Beck- I hope you don't mind if I stole this from you. This is a great tribute to mom.

MOM-You know how much we miss you, as you watch over us each and every day you witness the heartache we feel and the tears we cry each day. We try hard to make you proud of us, but we wish with all our hearts that you were here to witness first hand all that we have accomplished. We look forward to the day when "We'll see you on the other side". WE LOVE YOU!!!

IF I KNEW.....

If I knew it would be the last time

That I'd see you fall asleep,

I would tuck you in more tightly
and pray the Lord, your soul to keep.

If I knew it would be the last time
that I see you walk out the door,
I would give you a hug and kiss
and call you back for one more.

If I knew it would be the last time
I'd hear your voice lifted up in praise,
I would video tape each action and word,
so I could play them back day after day.

If I knew it would be the last time,
I could spare an extra minute
to stop and say "I love you,"
instead of assuming you would KNOW I do.

If I knew it would be the last time
I would be there to share your day,
Well I'm sure you'll have so many more,
so I can let just this one slip away.

For surely there's always tomorrow
to make up for an oversight,
and we always get a second chance
to make everything just right.

There will always be another day
to say "I love you,"
And certainly there's another chance
to say our "Anything I can do?"

But just in case I might be wrong,
and today is all I get,
I'd like to say how much I love you
and I hope we never forget.

Tomorrow is not promised to anyone,
young or old alike,
And today may be the last chance
you get to hold your loved one tight.

So if you're waiting for tomorrow,
why not do it today?
For if tomorrow never comes,
you'll surely regret the day,

That you didn't take that extra time
for a smile, a hug, or a kiss
and you were too busy to grant someone,
what turned out to be their one last wish.

So hold your loved ones close today,
and whisper in their ear,
Tell them how much you love them
and that you'll always hold them dear

Take time to say "I'm sorry,"
"Please forgive me," "Thank you," or "It's okay."
And if tomorrow never comes,
you'll have no regrets about today.

M'TALI'S FAVORITE PLAYER DERRON WILLIAMS. JOSH SAID SHE TOOK THESE PICTURES AND ABOUT 20 MORE OF HIM!!

I WASN'T HOME BEFORE THEY LEFT SO THAT IS WHY THEY ALL LOOK LIKE THEY ARE HOMELESS CHILDREN. IT WASN'T UNTIL I SAW THESE PICTURES THE NEXT DAY THAT I REALIZED HOW JOSH LET THEM LEAVE THE HOUSE.
UNDERNEATH THOSE HATS AND DIRTY FACES ARE 3 OF THE MOST CUTEST KIDS EVER!!!
THANKS JOSH FOR BEING SUCH AN AMAZING DAD, THEY HAD SO MUCH FUN, AND IT WAS SO NICE TO SPEND SOME ALONE TIME WITH LOGAN AND MY DAD.
OF COURSE I DIDN'T JUST SIT HOME AND DO NOTHING WHILE THEY WERE OUT HAVING FUN, MY DAD, LOGAN AND I WENT TO DINNER. IT WAS A NICE LITTLE BREAK FROM OUR CRAZY SCHEDULES.

Happy Birthday Mom!!!

Last Friday February 5Th was mom's 51st birthday, to celebrate it, I let the kids miss school, and we went and got some balloons and flowers and took them up to her grave. Mom's favorite colors were purple and yellow, so I made some wreaths that were purple and yellow pansies, and found some really pretty yellow flowers to put in the pots in the ground. Dad got her the pretty flowers right in front. We know she was smiling down at how beautiful it looked. Later that night we got together and had dinner, Jami made some really yummy chicken Alfredo.
Mom, we miss you more then you could imagine, we feel you with us all the time and know how much you love us. We wish more then anything you are here to celebrate this with us, but as hard as it is to understand, you were needed else where, even though it doesn't stop the tears. Life has been so hard without you here, so many times I've wanted to pick up the phone and talk to you about it. Some days I even find it hard to get out of bed knowing I have to face another day without you. I know I've said it before but there are things that all the kids are doing that we would love to share with you. Logan and Avery are getting so big. Logan is starting to pull himself up to things and will be walking before we know it. M'Tali is doing so good in basketball this year, and you wouldn't believe how good Dakoda is doing on his reading. Dallin is doing so good is school it's amazing. Our hearts ache each day for you to be apart of all this. The trials that we have had to go through without you are almost unbearable, but we know you watch over us all the time. Happy Birthday Mom, I love you so much!!!

We got a birthday cake and let all the kids blow out the candles!!

PATH OF DESTRUCTION!!!!

The other night as I was looking online for a job, Logan kept crawling over to the computer desk and was pulling all the papers off the bottom shelf. These papers are usually really organized but he decided that he was going to mess them up and leave a path of destruction. Who knew I had so many random thing down there!!!

And somewhere in all this mess he lost one of his socks!!!

" If I open it, It will come"

Logan knows what eatings all about.....He knows if he opens his mouth he gets food. It so entertaining to watch him eat. I can't believe he picked it up so fast, HE LOVES BABY FOOD!!!

The faces he pulls when he eats is so funny, he is constantly making us laugh.

"Give it to me"

After a big meal it's time to relax on dad's lap!!!

These 2 will grow up to be best buds even if she is a girl!!! Logan and my niece Avery love to play with each other. He is 2 months older then her and will be a great protecter. He will love her even if she plays with dolls and makeup and he plays with guns and trucks!!!
